Problem with USB wireless antenna in BackTrack 5 - Feniks - 06-30-2011 Sorry to bother but this is the only way to get to you and ask you a question. I have problem with my USB wireless antenna in BackTrack 5. I have REALTEK RTL8187L wireless USB antenna and I do not know how to start? When I type ''start networking'' show me ''networking stop/waiting''. When I type ''airmon-ng'' show me Interface Chipset Driver wlan1 Realtek RTL8187L rtl8187 - [phy0] When I type ''iwconfig'' show me lo no wireless extensions. eth1 no wireless extensions. wlan1 IEEE 802.11bg ESSID:off/any Mode:Managed Access Point: Not-Associated Tx-Power=off Retry long limit:7 RTS thr:off Fragment thr:off Encryption key:off Power Management:off When I type ''rfkill list'' show me Wireles lan soft blocked: no hard blocked: yes I started etc/init.d/wicd start When type ''airmon-ng start wlan1'' show me Found 1 processes that could cause trouble.
